Role: Senior Creative Director
Client: Disney on Broadway
Process: As Aladdin approached it’s 10th Broadway anniversary, we were tasked with revitalizing the art with new images, new messaging, and a scale befitting Broadway’s biggest party. We opted to create three pieces of Key Art, both to celebrate three iconic moments in the show and to highlight each of the main characters. In addition we created stand alone brand centric art featuring the lamp, and created a 10th anniversary icon. These pieces, along with the broader campaign including video, enhanced static, and site specific installations, were honored with a Clio Award.
As Creative Director I lead the creative development and concepting, directed the photoshoot in tandem with the client, directed the 3D rendering, compositing, and finishing of the final images.
Role: Senior Art Director/Project Lead
Client: Netflix
Process: For Narcos’ third season, the challenge was to communicate that while a fan favorite character might be leaving the show, the story and the show would continue and be just as engaging. My concept involved an iconic Key Art (created with the help of a 3D artist) that was bolstered by character posters showing the breadth and scale of the cast.
To expand the world further and connect the show to real world events, I also created infographic images to educate viewers on a group they might not have heard of before. The graphics were created during a special shoot that I directed.
